How It All Started
It all started with a customized gift for Aurelia & Estelle, two beautiful twin girls. I will never forget how I sat in my bedroom and sketched that first draft for a friend who really wanted to offer these little angels a meaningful piece of jewelry.

I loved their names and I wanted to create a design that captured the unbreakable bond of being a twin. When I checked what “Aurelia Estelle” meant combined – it turned out to be “Golden Star”. This also happened to be the name of a unique plant with yellow flowers. So, I ended up creating an abstract design inspired by this flower. Everyone fell in love with the design along with the story behind it.
Shortly after, some of my friends started requesting similar gifts for loved ones: high-quality, hand-crafted, and unique pieces of jewelry. With the first five pieces I created, I realized I had found my passion. I set up a Facebook page with these 5 pieces. I knew it was a humble beginning, but I had to start somewhere. I saved everything I made just to invest it back into the business and grow it as much as I could. It was my baby.
Soir, which is also my name, stands for strength in Arabic. Ever since I was little, my name stood out: partly because it is unusual and partly because many don’t know what it means. I wanted the brand to reflect the strength of starting small but with passion. Today, we stand with a portfolio of over 2,000 hand-drawn, customized designs.
What differentiates SOIR, is that every single piece is customized, we tell a story and the sentiment behind it. Whether it is a couple celebrating their love, a mother holding her child for the first time, or in the loving memory of a parent gone too soon.
The part that brings me the most joy is the feedback we get when someone receives our pieces. There is often so many emotions. We always make sure to include a personal note with every design we make, a personal and touching message from our clients dedicated to their loved ones.
